It’s a way to build confidence. It’s an inclusive community. Oh, and it’s great exercise too.
Denver Roller Derby is proud to present, Major Turbulence, a group of fearsome young skaters dedicated to becoming good athletes and better people. Trained by the Denver Roller Derby skaters, the youngsters are taught skating basics and roller derby strategy in a safe and supportive environment. Having role models is important, especially for young women, and parents of our juniors team have reported increased confidence as a result of the positive mentorship and increased athletic ability of our young athletes.
